Meet-up: What’s Good in Community Planning

October 27 | 3:30 | 90 Minutes | DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Metolius Room

Communities can promote human health and well-being by encouraging the development of environments that offer rich social, economic, and environmental benefits. Healthy, livable communities improve the welfare and well-being of people by expanding the range of affordable transportation, employment, and housing choices. Let’s explore how communities can maximize opportunities for daily exercise, encourage movement towards compact, transit-oriented land-uses and a range of affordable housing choices.
